Prostanthera junonis, also known as Somersby mintbush, is a low, straggling shrub with egg-shaped leaves and purple to mauve flowers. It is found only in the Central Coast region of New South Wales and is classified as endangered due to threats such as habitat loss and degradation. It was first described in 1997 and is named after Mrs. June Gay. This species mainly flowers from October to February and grows in sandy loamy soils on sandstone in sclerophyll forest and woodland. Efforts are being made to protect and recover this species through a conservation plan.
