Prostanthera arapilensis is a unique and rare flowering plant that belongs to the Lamiaceae family and is found only in a small area of Victoria, Australia. It is a fragrant shrub with hairy branches, oval-shaped leaves, and pale mauve or white flowers with orange-brown markings. This plant was first described in 2006 and is typically found in heathy woodland and scrubland on the rocky summit of Mount Arapiles. Its distinct features and limited distribution make it a special and sought-after species among plant enthusiasts.
