Lavandula pedunculata, also known as French lavender, is a flowering plant in the mint family. It is characterized by its unique butterfly-shaped petals that grow on a slender stem. This species is native to regions such as Iberia, Morocco, and western Turkey. There are five different subspecies of L. pedunculata, each with its own distinct characteristics.
