Campsis radicans, also known as the trumpet vine, is a deciduous woody vine native to eastern North America. It can grow up to 10 meters in length and has showy trumpet-shaped flowers. It is commonly found in woodlands and along riverbanks, and is also a popular garden plant. The leaves are compound with 7-13 leaflets, and the flowers are orange to reddish orange with a yellow throat. The plant is attractive to hummingbirds, birds, and insects. It is also known for its invasive tendencies and can cause skin irritation.
