Galium multiflorum, also known as Kellogg's bedstraw, shrubby bedstraw, and many-flowered bedstraw, is a perennial herb in the coffee family. It grows on rocky soils, mountains, and desert slopes, and can reach up to 35 centimeters in height. The leaves are arranged in whorls of four and the plant produces clusters of white to pinkish flowers. It is dioecious, meaning it has separate male and female flowers, and the fruit is a nutlet covered in long, straight white hairs. This plant is native to the Great Basin region and other dry areas of the Western United States, including California, Nevada, Utah, and northern Arizona. It thrives in dry sagebrush habitats and is well-adapted to survive in harsh conditions.
