Galium jepsonii, also known as Jepson's bedstraw, is a rare flowering plant in the Madder family. It is named after California botanist Willis Linn Jepson and is native to Southern California, specifically in the San Bernardino and San Gabriel Mountains. This perennial herb grows in small clumps and produces white to pink bell-shaped flowers from July to August. It is a dioecious species, meaning that male and female flowers are found on separate plants. Galium jepsonii is considered a Vulnerable species and is protected in various national forests and monuments.
