Fagraea berteroana, also known as pua keni keni or perfume flower tree, is a small tree or large shrub native to the Samoa Islands and found in other areas of the sub-tropics. Its name is derived from the Latin word "berteroana" in honor of Bertero, but is often spelled as "berteriana". The plant has quad-angular branches, blunt tipped leaves, and fragrant white flowers that turn yellow over time. These flowers are popular for making lei and in Hawaiian, the tree's name means "ten cent flower" due to the past price of a lei made from them.
