Parsonsia howeana, also known as the Howe Island Parsonsia, is a fast-growing vine that belongs to the Apocynaceae family. It is native to Lord Howe Island, a subtropical island in Australia's Tasman Sea. This vine is commonly found in the island's low elevation forests. Its young stems are covered in fine hairs and it has glossy, elliptical leaves that can grow up to 9 cm long. The plant produces small, honey-scented flowers in shades of orange, reddish-brown, and yellow throughout the year. Its seeds are ribbed, flattened, and ellipsoidal in shape, measuring 1.5 cm in length.
