Quercus jonesii, also known as palo manzano, is a small oak tree native to Mexico. It can reach heights of 4-8 meters and is found in the Sierra Madre Occidental, Sierra Madre Oriental, and Mexican Plateau. It grows in pine-oak forests, oak forests, and woodlands, often in isolated patches on rocky slopes. It is commonly found alongside other oak species such as Q. eduardi, Q. resinosa, and Q. laeta.
