Allocasuarina diminuta, also known as broombush sheoak, is a shrub native to eastern New South Wales. It typically grows to 1-5 meters and has an upright habit. It can be found in various habitats such as heath, low open woodlands, ridges, and hillsides. The shrub blooms in Autumn and Winter and produces small wooden fruits. It is commonly found in the understorey of heath, dry sclerophyll forest, and open woodlands. This species thrives in low-nutrient sandy or rocky soils derived from sandstone.
