Zenia is a genus of plants that belongs to the Fabaceae family and the subfamily Dialioideae. It consists of only one species, Zenia insignis, which is a medium-sized tree reaching heights of 15-20 meters. This species is primarily found in southern China and northern Vietnam. Unfortunately, Zenia insignis is facing threats such as habitat loss and overharvesting. As a result, it is classified as a second-class protected species in China.
