Pultenaea prostrata, also known as silky bush-pea, is a small, low-lying shrub with cylindrical leaves and yellow, red, and purple-brown flowers. It is found in south-eastern Australia and is part of the Fabaceae family. The plant grows up to 50 cm in height and has silky-hairy foliage. Its flowers are borne singly and have orange-yellow petals with red streaks. This species was first described in 1856 by Joseph Dalton Hooker and is found in dry forests in Victoria, South Australia, and Tasmania. While it is relatively common in Victoria and South Australia, it is listed as "vulnerable" in Tasmania.
