Psorothamnus fremontii, also known as Fremont's dalea or Fremont's indigo bush, is a perennial shrub in the legume family. It is named after John C. Frémont and is commonly found in the Southwestern United States and northwest Mexico, specifically in California, Nevada, Utah, Arizona, Sonora, and Baja California. This plant can be found in various desert regions, including the Sonoran, Great Basin, and Mojave Deserts, at elevations ranging from 250 to 1,350 meters.
