Oxylobium arborescens, also known as the tall shaggy-pea, is a flowering shrub or small tree found in south-eastern Australia. It has dark green leaves and yellow pea flowers. The plant can grow up to 5 meters tall and has stems covered in soft, silky hairs. Its leaves are usually arranged in groups of three or opposite each other, and are narrow and pointed. The flowers are yellow with red markings and are found at the end of branches or in the leaf axils. The plant produces egg-shaped seed pods and blooms in spring and summer. Oxylobium arborescens was first described in 1811 and is mostly found in gullies and sheltered forests on ranges.
