Daviesia localis is a unique species of flowering plant that belongs to the Fabaceae family and is found only in a small area of south-western Western Australia. It is a shrub with spine-tipped branches and needle-shaped phyllodes. The flowers are orange-yellow with a red central mark and bloom in October and November. This plant was first described in 2015 and its name, localis, refers to its limited distribution. It is only found in one location in the Bindoon area and is considered a priority species for conservation due to its restricted range.
