Daviesia laxiflora is a species of flowering plant that is native to eastern Victoria, Australia. It is a large shrub or small tree with drooping branches and long racemes of bright yellow flowers. The plant has linear to narrow elliptic phyllodes and typically grows to a height of 10 meters. It can be found in moist, montane forests at altitudes of 900-1300 meters. This species was first described in 1957 and was later elevated to species status in 1991. Its name, laxiflora, means "loose-flowered". It flowers from October to January and produces triangular pods as fruit. There is also a population of this species at Wilsons Promontory.
