Daviesia latifolia, also known as hop bitter-pea, is a flowering plant endemic to south-eastern Australia. It is a slender, erect shrub with elliptic, egg-shaped or lance-shaped phyllodes and orange-yellow and maroon flowers. It is commonly found in forests and woodlands and provides nectar for insects and native birds. This species has various uses, including as an ornamental plant, windbreak, and for nitrogen-fixing. Its stems and phyllodes can also be used to produce a dye and have medicinal properties. Early European settlers used the leaves as a drug to expel intestinal worms and as a tonic.
