Daviesia brachyphylla is a flowering plant that belongs to the Fabaceae family and is found only in the south-west region of Western Australia. It is a shrub with cylindrical leaves and vibrant orange, maroon, and red flowers. The plant can grow up to 80 cm in height and has smooth branches. Its flowers are arranged in groups and bloom from July to October. The plant was first described in 1844 and its name, brachyphylla, means "short-leaved". It is commonly found in heathland and woodland areas in various biogeographic regions of Western Australia. The species is not considered threatened by the government of Western Australia.
