Astragalus distortus, commonly known as Ozark milkvetch, is a species of flowering plant in the legume family. It is found in the central United States, with a wide distribution in Missouri but is uncommon or absent in the northwestern and southeastern sections. It is a perennial herb with small, purple inflorescences (though they are sometimes white). It is identified by its small size, non-vining habit, and its inflorescences. It is found in prairies and savannas.
