Acacia salicina is a large shrub or small evergreen tree native to Australia. It is a fast grower, dropping lots of leaf litter, and has a life span of 10-50 years. It flowers primarily from October to January and its seed pods are often visible from April to July. It is used for erosion management, fodder, food, landscaping, tannin, wood, and other uses. It is a weed in some of its native and introduced range.
