Camellia cuspidata, also known as cuspidate camellia, is a species of evergreen shrub native to China. It can reach up to 3 meters in height and has glossy dark green leaves. Its pure white flowers bloom from December to April and it produces fruits from August to October. The plant is named after Georg Joseph Kamel, a Jesuit missionary and naturalist, and its name, cuspidata, refers to its pointed, rigid tip resembling a canine tooth. It is found in various provinces in western China.
