Lysimachia venosa, also known as veined yellow loosestrife, is a rare flowering plant found only on the island of Kauai in Hawaii. It was last collected in 1911, but in 1991, a branch was discovered from a plant of this species. It may have fallen from the summit of Mount Waialeale, indicating that the plant may still exist in unsurveyed parts of its habitat. However, it is believed to be extinct as no more specimens have been found. In 2010, it was listed as an endangered species in the United States. This shrub can grow up to 1 meter in height and has oval leaves and dark red flowers.
