Phlox adsurgens, also known as northern phlox, is a type of flowering plant found in the Polemoniaceae family. It is native to the United States, specifically in Oregon and a section of the northern Coast Ranges of California. This plant is typically found in forested and wooded mountain areas. It is a low-growing perennial with upright branches that can reach up to 30 centimeters in length. The leaves are oval-shaped and arranged in pairs, measuring 1 to 3 centimeters in length. The plant produces clusters of pink, five-lobed flowers. Its Latin name, adsurgens, translates to "rising upwards".
