Eriastrum diffusum, also known as miniature woollystar, is a flowering plant found in the southwestern United States. It can be found in various open habitats and has a thin, woolly stem that can grow up to 20 centimeters. Its leaves are divided into 2 to 4 narrow lobes and its inflorescence is a cluster of bracts covered in webby fibers. The flowers are small and have yellow throats with white to pale blue petals.
