Collomia tinctoria, also known as staining collomia, is a flowering plant found in the western United States. It grows in rocky areas in mountain regions, and has a slender, branched stem that reaches a maximum height of 8 centimeters. The leaves are lance-shaped and covered in glandular hairs. The plant produces two or three flowers from the leaf axils, each with pointed sepals and a purplish tube and pinkish corolla. It is an annual herb and is native to states such as Washington, Montana, and California.
