Collomia larsenii, also known as talus collomia, is a perennial herb found in the Olympic Mountains and Cascade Range of Washington and northern California. It grows in high, exposed mountainside talus and has a branching stem covered in fleshy, glandular, and hairy leaves. The plant produces clusters of 6 to 9 tubular purple flowers, each with a face up to 1.5 centimeters wide. It is a unique and beautiful addition to the phlox family.
