Pentaphylax euryoides, also known as "wu lie mu" in Chinese, is a flowering plant found in countries such as Sumatra, Malaysia, Vietnam, and China. In China, it can be found in provinces such as Guangdong, Guangxi, Guizhou, Hainan, Yunnan, Fujian, Hunan, and Jiangxi. This species can grow up to 4-10 meters tall and has lanceolate, oblong, and ovate leaf-blades that are 5-9 cm long and 2-5 cm wide. Its pedicels are 0.5 mm and carry triangular bracteoles of the same length as the petiole. P. euryoides also has five sepals that are 1.5-2.5 mm long and orbicular, as well as five oblong stamens that are 1 mm long. Its seeds are reddish-brown and measure 1.5-2 mm in length.
