Dracophyllum strictum, also known as totorowhiti, is a shrub species that is native to New Zealand. It was first described by Joseph Dalton Hooker in 1844 and is part of the heath family Ericaceae. The specific epithet "strictum" refers to its rigid and tightly packed leaves. This species can be found in lowland to montane forests and shrublands, and can grow up to 50-300 cm in height.
