Diospyros hallieri is a tree in the family Ebenaceae, native to Borneo. It grows up to 30 metres (100 ft) tall, with reddish brown twigs when young. Its inflorescences bear up to 10 flowers, and its fruits are ovoid to round, up to 5 cm (2 in) in diameter. It is found in lowland mixed dipterocarp forests, and is named for the German botanist J. G. Hallier.
