Diospyros fasciculosa is a rainforest tree in the ebony family, native to Australia, Fiji, and Southeast Asia. It is usually seen as a medium-sized tree, but can grow up to 30 metres (98 ft) tall. It is known by Australian common names such as grey ebony, clustered persimmon, ebony, and Long Tom. The specific epithet fasciculus refers to the clusters of flowers and fruits. The fruits are edible, with a sweet flavour, and can be eaten raw or cooked.
