Saurauia polysperma is a flowering plant found only in the Philippines, also known as tsuke. It was first described by Francisco Manuel Blanco, who named it after its numerous seeds. This small tree can reach up to 1.5 meters in height and has narrow, serrated leaves with short petioles. Its inflorescences are organized as panicles and each flower has a calyx with 5 fused sepals and a corolla with 5 fused lobes. The flowers also have up to 30 stamens and produce multiple seeds in each chamber of the fertilized ovary. The plant's pollen is shed in permanent tetrads.
