Lonicera etrusca, also known as Etruscan honeysuckle, is a deciduous perennial climber native to Southern Europe, Western Asia, and North Africa. It has also been introduced to other regions, such as the Pacific Northwest of North America, where it has escaped cultivation. This plant is commonly kept in gardens as an ornamental plant. It can reach lengths of 6 meters and bears oval leaves and dense spikes of fragrant flowers. Notable cultivars include 'Donald Waterer' and 'Superba', the latter of which has received the Royal Horticultural Society's Award of Garden Merit. The plant is also used as fodder in some regions. However, its berries are poisonous.
