Diervilla rivularis is a species of flowering plant in the honeysuckle family native to the eastern United States, primarily found in the southern Appalachian Mountains. It is a compact, perennial shrub that grows 3–6 feet (0.91–1.83 m) tall and has trumpet-shaped, two-lipped, pale yellow to greenish yellow flowers. It prefers moist wooded areas and disturbed areas such as roadsides, and is considered "somewhat threatened" due to habitat loss, fragmentation, and invasive species.
