This plant typically grows up to 1 meter in height and has branchlets that are covered in dense hair when young. Its leaves are 32-45 mm long and 2.5-5.5 mm wide, with both sides covered in star-shaped hairs. The flowers are 12-15 mm wide and grow singly in leaf axils on a thin peduncle.
