Begonia aequilateralis Irmsch., 1929 is a rare species of begonia found in the Sungai Buloh area of Selangor, Peninsular Malaysia. It is considered to be the most endangered begonia in the region, as it is only known to exist in a small population in a forest that is currently being cleared. This species is at risk of extinction due to its limited habitat and ongoing deforestation.
