Tradescantia cerinthoides, also known as flowering inch plant, is a plant species found in the dayflower family. It is native to regions in south east Brazil and north east Argentina. First described by German botanist Carl Sigismund Kunth in 1843, this plant is known for its attractive pink and white flowers and green purplish foliage. It is popular among gardeners as an ornamental plant, but can also become invasive in some areas.
