Rumex vesicarius, also known as Ruby dock or bladder dock, is a perennial flowering plant found in tropical and temperate regions of Asia, Africa, and Western Australia. It has triangular to ovate leaves and green flowers with a red tinge. The fruit of the plant is hard, red, and reticulately veined, giving it a bladder-like appearance. It is commonly found in Australia, where it has become naturalized in various regions. The plant's name, vesicarius, comes from the Latin word for "bladder", referring to the inflated fruit.
