Rumex pulcher, also known as fiddle dock, is a flowering plant found in Eurasia, North Africa, and parts of North America. It is a perennial herb with a slender stem and variable leaves, often resembling a fiddle. The inflorescence consists of many branches with clusters of up to 20 flowers each. The flowers have six tepals, with the inner three having teeth and tubercles. This plant is quite variable in appearance and is divided into several subspecies by some authorities. It is commonly found as an introduced species and roadside weed.
