Polygonum californicum, also known as California knotweed, is a flowering plant found on the west coast of the United States. It can be found in various open habitats in Washington, Oregon, and northern and central California. This annual herb has a slender, angled stem and narrow, pointed leaves with fringed stipules. Its white or pink flowers grow in upper leaf axils.
