Eriogonum thomasii, also known as Thurber's buckwheat, is a species of wild buckwheat found in the desert southwest of North America and three desert states of Mexico. It is a thin annual herb that can grow up to 40 centimeters tall and has rounded to oval leaves at the base of the stem. The plant produces clusters of small white to pink flowers on open branches. It is a common and abundant species in many areas of its native range.
