Eriogonum incanum, also known as frosted buckwheat, is a perennial herb found in the Sierra Nevada region of California and western Nevada, as well as in Oregon. It grows in mats up to 20cm tall and 30cm wide, with woolly leaves that form a gray-green or yellowish layer on the ground. The plant produces clusters of yellow, red, or mixed flowers, with male plants bearing smaller staminate flowers and female plants bearing larger pistillate flowers.
