Chorizanthe rectispina, also known as prickly spineflower or straight-awned spineflower, is a flowering plant found only in California. It can be found in dry habitats such as chaparral and woodland in the Central Coast Ranges. This low-growing plant has hairy stems and a cluster of flowers surrounded by six bracts, each with a different type of awn. The central flower is small and white with yellow accents. It is a rare plant, with only about twenty known occurrences in the state.
