Anulocaulis annulatus, also known as valley ringstem, is a flowering plant found in the Mojave Desert of California, particularly in the area of Death Valley. It is a perennial herb with tall, thin stems that can reach over a meter in height. The stems have glandular and sticky darkened internodes, while the leaves are mostly located at the base of the plant and covered in stiff hairs with glandular bases. The inflorescence branches out and produces clusters of hairy, tubular flowers with greenish throats and striped pink faces. The fruit is a small, hard body measuring about half a centimeter in length.
