Macarthuria australis is a shrub that is native to Western Australia and belongs to the family Macarthuriaceae. It can grow up to 0.75 m in height and has white or white-cream flowers. This plant is typically found on sand and laterite in coastal sandplains, sandhills, and roadsides. It is known to flower from May to February, with the peak season being from August to September. The seeds of this shrub are dispersed by ants.
