Celosia palmeri, also known as Palmer's cockscomb, is a type of flowering plant found in the lower Rio Grande Valley of Texas and northeastern Mexico. It was named after British botanist Edward Palmer, who collected the first specimen in 1880. This perennial shrub can grow up to 1 meter tall and blooms from summer to winter.
