The fruit is a small, thin-walled, four-angled nutlet.
Atriplex suberecta is a species of saltbush native to Australia, but can also be found as an introduced species and invasive species in other parts of the world, such as southern Africa and parts of North America. It is an annual herb with sprawling, scaly stems and thin, toothed leaves that are oval to diamond-shaped. The male and female flowers are generally borne in axillary clusters, and the fruit is a small, thin-walled, four-angled nutlet. In some areas, it is considered a noxious weed.
