Anabasis articulata is a type of plant belonging to the genus Anabasis. It is a salt-tolerant xerophyte that is commonly found in the Syrian desert. The plant is often used by Bedouins as a substitute for soap, as its ashes have cleansing properties. Additionally, the plant is known for its medicinal properties, particularly in Algerian traditional medicine where its leaves are used to make a decoction for treating diabetes.
