Lithops viridis is a unique plant belonging to the Aizoaceae family. Its leaves resemble rocks, providing protection from predators. The leaves are also succulent, allowing the plant to store water. The daisy-like flowers of this species close at night, and it is one of the few Lithops plants with green leaves. The two leaves are shaped like a sprouting bean, adding to its distinctive appearance.
