Lithops salicola, also known as living stones, is a perennial plant in the Aizoaceae family. It is characterized by its two coupled leaves, cylindrical or conical shape, and green-gray color. This species can be found in Namibia and South Africa at altitudes of 1,000 to 1,350 meters and prefers well-drained soil or rock crevices. It is commonly used as a houseplant or for landscaping and is relatively easy to cultivate compared to other Lithops species. L. salicola has gained recognition in the United Kingdom, receiving the Royal Horticultural Society's Award of Garden Merit.
