Disphyma papillatum, also known as Chatham Island ice plant, is a unique flowering plant that is native to the Chatham Islands of New Zealand. It is a succulent herb with flattened, pimply stems and triangular leaves. The flowers are daisy-like and can be white, pink, dark blue, or purple. This plant is similar to another species, Disphyma crassifolium, but can be distinguished by its pimply and flattened stems. Disphyma papillatum was first described in 1971 and is found on various islands in the Chatham Islands.
